DNPH sampling tubes are manufactured in the United States by Supelco and SKC. Each tube contains 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) coated on high-purity silica gel.

The tubes consist of two sorbent sections that are analyzed separately, allowing reliable detection of sample breakthrough. DNPH tubes from Supelco and SKC are fully interchangeable, offering equivalent performance, sensitivity, and analytical reliability.

Product availability:
Orders will be fulfilled with either SKC or Supelco (ORBO™) DNPH sampling tubes, depending on current availability. Both products meet the same technical specifications and provide equivalent analytical performance.

These DNPH samplers are well suited for monitoring compounds with low time-weighted averages (TWAs ≤ 0.1 ppm), short-term exposure limit (STEL) measurements, and indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations. They are applicable to most common aldehydes and are described in NIOSH Methods 2016 and 2018.
