226-193UC sampling tubes are manufactured in the United States by SKC. Each tube contains a single layer of silicagel coated with a derivatiser which stabilises which gets oxidized by peracetic acid and further tested using HPLC UV.
The peracetic acid tubes are well suited for monitoring TWA and (STEL) as the sampling volume should not exceed 35 L of air. measurements, and indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations. The method chemistry is described in OSHA PV 2321,
