How to Submit Your Asbestos Samples for Testing:

  1. Collect Your Samples:
    • Gather 2-10 grams of each material (such as insulation, drywall, or flooring).
    • Place each sample in a separate Ziploc bag and clearly label it with a description, like “kitchen floor” or “plaster from bedroom”.
    • The number of bags equals the number of samples.
  2. Choose Testing Sensitivity:
    • Select the sensitivity required for your asbestos testing:
      • 0.5% sensitivity (minimum requirement for most Canadian provinces).
      • 0.1% sensitivity (required for Quebec and Manitoba; highly recommended for more accurate results).
    • Testing at 0.1% sensitivity is performed by two independent analysts for optimal accuracy.
  3. Select Turnaround Time:
    • Choose the turnaround time that meets your needs. We offer flexible options depending on your urgency.
  4. Place Your Order:
    • Submit your order through our website by selecting the number of samples, sensitivity level, and preferred turnaround time.
    • After placing your order, print your receipt to include with your samples.
  5. Ship Your Samples:
    • Send your labeled samples, along with the printed receipt, to our asbestos testing laboratory in London, Ontario. Find the exact address on the “Shipping” tab of our website.
